Time difference and Time Travel
Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina are 8 hours ahead of Chicago time. Flight times between United States and Split, Dubrovnik and Sarajevo are about 18-20 hours including connection times. Upon arrival in Croatia, there is a 2 1/2 hour bus ride to Medjugorje.
Weather
The weather is typically 10 degree cooler than Chicago, but can vary greatly. It's best to check weather.com for current weather information. The closest location to Medjugorje is Mostar, Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Breakfast: To begin each day, a delicious meal is prepared and served to us at our host home. We usually have our guide, Miki Musa give us an overview for the day!
Daily Mass: Walk along the red dirt paths through the vineyards where you can lose yourself in the simple beauty of the vines. Daily Mass is celebrated in many languages in Medjugorje. Mass celebrated in English is at 10:00 am.
Due to the unknown availability of the Priests and visionaries in Medjugorje during our pilgrimage, it is not possible to provide an exact day to day itinerary. There are many activities and opportunities from day to day. Each morning, Miki will provide us with those opportunities and you will always have the option of joining the group or spending time by yourself.

Apparition Hill (Podbrdo): The Blue Cross marks the location where Our Lady first appeared to the children on June 25th, 1981. The rosary is prayed together while climbing to the top. The statue of Our Lady at the peak was a gift from a family whose son was healed through prayer and faith of the mother.
Cross Mountain (Krizevak): Pray the Stations of the Cross while climbing Mount Krizevak. When you reach the summit of the mountain, you can pray and reflect at the base of the white cross that can be seen for miles.
Cenecolo: Hear the stories of boys lives' who have been turned around by residing in Cenecolo Village.
Siroki Brijeg: Travel to a historical Franciscan monastery for a talk and healing service with Father Jozo Zovko as well as his mission of an Orphanage for those left as a result of the war.
Discussion by Medjugorje Priests: Periodically after daily Mass, a priest will share his views and offer a thought provoking talk.
Witness an Apparition: If one of the visionaries is having a public apparition, we will have the opportunity to share in that experience.
Afternoon Meal: We gather back at the house for an afternoon meal.
Evening Services at St. James:
Each evening in Medjugorje, there is a evening prayer service near St. James. This is a powerful and prayerful time in which pilgrims from all over the world gather together to join as one and to observe the 5:40pm time when Our Lady is appearing to the Visionaries.
