Our Lady has appeared in Medjugorje every day since June 24, 1981 to present. Beginning on March 1, 1984, Our Lady began giving Weekly Messages to St. James parish in Medjugorje and the World. Then, on January 25, 1987, Our Lady began giving these Messages on the 25th of each Month. After 21+ years, Our Lady still appears to 3 of the visionaries daily (Marija, Vicka, and Ivan). The 25th of the month message is always given by Our Lady to the visionary Marija.
A new development took place in Medjugorje at the beginning of 1984. Our Lady told Jelena Vasilj that she wanted the parishioners of St. James Church to come together at the church for one evening a week so that She could direct them in their spiritual life. The priests chose Thursday. From March 1, 1984 through January 8, 1987, Our Lady gave messages to the parish every Thursday. The messages come to the parish through the six seers and almost entirely through Marija Pavlovic. On January 8, 1987, Our Lady said that She would give messages monthly, on the 25th of each month.
Since June 25, 1981, in Medjugorje Bosnia-Herzegovina, six trustworthy witnesses, testify firmly under oath, that the Blessed Virgin Mary, or the "Gospa", as she is affectionately known as here, appears to them every day up to the present.
The visionaries of Medjugorje report that Our Lady is giving them messages for the whole world. In Her own words She tells us: "I have come to tell the world the GOD EXISTS...He is the fullness of life and to experience this peace, you must return to God."
The latest message from Our Lady...Queen of Peace given to Visionary Mirjana on November 2, 2008"Dear Children, Today I call you to a complete union with God. Your body is on earth, but I ask you for your soul to be all the more often in God's nearness. You will achieve this through prayer, prayer with an open heart. In that way, you will thank God for the immeasurable goodness which He gives to you through me and, with a sincere heart, you will receive the obligation to treat the souls whom you met with equal goodness. Thank you, my children."
On the 25th of each month, Our Lady appears to the Medjugorje visionary Marija to give us her message to the world.
